Morton’s achievements were later recognized by the Ring of Fame in 1988, where he was inducted alongside Moses and Jim Turner. Despite a hip injury that sidelined him for part of the 1977 season, he continued to contribute to the Broncos’ success, finishing with 41 regular-season wins and leading the franchise to two division titles and three playoff berths.
